Per Support's instructions, I restarted my system after all of that was gone and then checked to make sure I also had the latest version of Microsoft. The first time I tried it, I didn't see anything branded with Razer in my Device Manager either which they told me I needed to remove as well.

Razer told me to unplug the mouse and uninstall literally everything on my computer branded with Razer, which I did (even though I had to do it on a secondary account cause otherwise my issues with Windows Defender blocked me from doing some things). To fix this problem, I tried a variety of things including different USB ports, uninstalling and re-installing Synapse, and even contacting Razer support. On the home screen, I only get one tab, the Stats tab, and a box on the right that says "For the full experience, please connect a Razer Synapse enabled device". Anyways, while the mouse works fine and lights up and the Chroma integration with Overwatch works like a charm, Synapse doesn't let me really do anything. So I got my first Razer product, the Overwatch Deathadder Chroma for Xmas (welcome to the Cult of Razer, yada yada) When I first unboxed it, I plugged it in before setting up the Razer Synapse software which I probably should have done first, but I didn't know it mattered.
